York Street Capital Partners, LLC ("York Street") is an investment firm formed in June 2002 to provide mezzanine and equity capital to private equity sponsors for acquisitions, buyouts, growth capital and recapitalizations of middle-market companies.
York Street is sponsored by Teachers’ Private Capital, the private equity arm of the C$108 billion Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
York Street currently invests through York Street Mezzanine Partners II, a $700 million fund closed in February 2006. Since inception, York Street has invested over $691 million (including two Teachers’ Private Capital co-investments) in twenty-one transactions.
York Street can provide sizable, flexible junior capital solutions of up to $80 million per transaction, with additional capital available for growth. York Street can partner with Teachers’ Private Capital to seamlessly provide solutions for transactions with larger capital needs.
The York Street team includes nine investment professionals with over 105 years of investment, consulting and capital markets experience. The majority of the team has been investing together for over 18 years.
